Always the chaos: see the well-ordered towers; feel the implosion and unavoidable void. 2/ Praise be to the Shepherd for billowing clouds of fume that put them to sleep in no time before they got cornered or forced off the ledge by indifferent flames and didn't see their limbs catch fire or feel the burning flesh fall off or hear the roar, knowing they'd go out a part of the rubble. The electricity & power, however, were snuffed out according to the rules of man and the laws of gravity. |
